Over the past weekend, the strongest Russian skiers gathered in the Square of the Winter Palace, on the threshold of the first post-Olympic season, for the 11th time, where they played for the cup Sprint at the Palace Square.
Participants and guests of our city for the traditional race, welcomed Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, member of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and a six-time Olympic champion Lyubov Egorova, chairman of the Sports Committee Yuri Avdeev and president of the St. Petersburg Ski Race Federation Andrei Kirilenko. The event was also attended by the Sochi 2014 Olympic champion Alexander Legov, who came to the event as a fan.
